The rate of human trafficking in Nigeria is reducing following concerted efforts by government, international partners and civil society organization in the country.
Making the statement in Abuja at the National Stakeholders Conference on human trafficking, the Executive Secretary of NAPTIP, Mrs. Beatrice Jedy-Agba said that this does not mean that Nigeria is out of the woods, as she admitted that Nigeria had a huge trafficking problem which some cultural practices and deep patriarchal society has exercabated.
