PRESS AND PUBLIC RELATION UNIT

The Press and Public Relations Unit (PPRU) of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) is one of the Units under the Office of the Director-General. It is a specialized Unit of the Agency vested with the responsibility of interfacing between NAPTIP and the Media Partners, as well as managing the corporate image and reputation of the Agency.

The Unit serves as the mirror through which the public views the Agency and vice versa.

It initiates and implements Press/Media and Public Relations strategies for the Agency to enable it to maintain cordial relationships with its numerous stakeholders and partners.

Other functions of the Unit include monitoring public opinion, identifying trends, and measuring public acceptability of the Agency’s activities, providing feedback channels, as well as identifying public concerns and expectations.
